Primos’ story

PRIMOS was born long before the idea of opening a gym.

It started with two cousins, Harry and Bernie, who found Muay Thai as kids and never really left. From the age of 11 and 12, the gym became a huge part of our lives.

What started as after-school training turned into interclubs, amateur fights and eventually professional competition. Between us, we went on to have around 20 professional fights each. Bernie fought internationally in places like Las Vegas and Barbados, while Harry challenged for an international WBC title.As the fighting slowed down, coaching became a bigger part of our lives. For the best part of 10 years we've coached everyone from complete beginners taking their first class to fighters preparing to compete.

PRIMOS is the next chapter.

We wanted to take everything we loved about the gyms we grew up in and build our own version of it.A proper place to train. Somewhere people know each other. Somewhere beginners and fighters can train under the same roof. And somewhere you're just as welcome on your first day as you are after 100 sessions.

After more than 20 years in Muay Thai, we finally opened the doors to PRIMOS in August 2026.

And we're only just getting started.
